With nearly four decades of experience as a qualified accountant and over 30 years running my own practice, I’ve spent most of my professional life working alongside residential builders and tradespeople in the construction industry. Over the years, I’ve come to understand not just the numbers behind a business, but the day-to-day realities of running one.

For more than 10 years, I’ve worked extensively with Databuild, a specialized software solution used by many in the building industry. My expertise lies primarily on the accounting side of the platform, though I also have a working knowledge of its estimating functionality. I’m equally comfortable working within MYOB, and have solid, practical experience with Xero as well.

These days, my focus is on offering targeted support through short-term or one-off assignments. Whether it’s resolving problems in Databuild or MYOB, improving reporting systems, or simply helping bring clarity to a tangle of business ideas, I enjoy bringing practical solutions to the table.
